Programs and Services |
Concerned Medical and Health Care Professionals, Inc. (CMHCP) offers a wide spectrum of services to the community, including:
- HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and substance abuse prevention programs
- the development of peer initiatives for adolescents and teens
- cultural competency training
- women's programs and services.
Our programs use culturally and linguistically appropriate prevention strategies while providing a holistic approach to HIV/AIDS and substance abuse prevention. Our primary goal is to design, develop and implement culturally appropriate prevention interventions addressing a variety of health concerns. To accomplish our mission, we offer services in eight distinct program areas:
- Consultation, Program Design and Implementation
- Educational Seminars and Workshops
- Mentoring and Peer-to-Peer Programs
- Direct Patient Care Services
- Community-Based Outreach
- Speakers' Bureau
- Educational Materials Development
- Women's Preventive Health Interventions.
We have also received IRB approval from the New England Institution Review Board (NEIRB), making it possible to carry out research studies with human subjects.
