Programs and Services

Programs and Services          Concerned Medical and Health Care Professionals, Inc. (CMHCP) offers a wide spectrum of services to the community, including:

  • HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and substance abuse prevention programs
  • the development of peer initiatives for adolescents and teens
  • cultural competency training
  • women's programs and services.

Our programs use culturally and linguistically appropriate prevention strategies while providing a holistic approach to HIV/AIDS and substance abuse prevention. Our primary goal is to design, develop and implement culturally appropriate prevention interventions addressing a variety of health concerns. To accomplish our mission, we offer services in eight distinct program areas:

  1. Consultation, Program Design and Implementation
  2. Educational Seminars and Workshops
  3. Mentoring and Peer-to-Peer Programs
  4. Direct Patient Care Services
  5. Community-Based Outreach
  6. Speakers' Bureau
  7. Educational Materials Development
  8. Women's Preventive Health Interventions.

We have also received IRB approval from the New England Institution Review Board (NEIRB), making it possible to carry out research studies with human subjects.
